We are pleased to sell this site where others have failed.

The site was once home to Hightown Secondary School, which closed in the early 1980s. after being declared redundant by Hampshire County Council.

It was later replaced by the East Point Complex which was used as a training centre for plumbers, electricians and engineers.

The site is located on the East Side of Southampton in a residential area known as Thornhill.

Thornhill has access links to the M27 with wider links to the South Coast and access to the M3, with links to London, the Midlands and the North.

The site measures just under 3.5 acres.
Planning permission was granted in August 2022 for the redevelopment of the site, which includes the demolition of the current redundant buildings.

The three-year project consists of 21 houses and 107 flats, totalling 128 dwellings.

Some of these dwellings will deliver notable affordable housing in the form of social rent and intermediate housing.

The site will boast high-quality buildings and public access to open spaces.
