Stretching across the central South, and out across the water to the Isle of Wight, Hampshire is the 5th most populous county in England.
Parked between the South Downs and the New Forest, both areas of outstanding natural beauty, the county is home to historical cities such as Winchester, and also population-dense cities such as Southampton and Portsmouth.
Extending upwards to Basingstoke, there are many cities and towns within Hampshire that are on the commuter belt to London, generating increased demand for land with development potential as well as resulting in above-average pricing of new and existing homes within the county.
Thanks to the New Forest, Hampshire’s famed for being predominantly green belt from the boundary with Dorset along the coastline to Lymington and northwards to Ringwood.
